It was a messy start with Silence the Cannons. The directives on how far to kite the orbs were a bit unclear, and some people decided to drag their orbs straight into the raid instead. In the chaos, Makma went with the old strat of trying to move the entire raid instead. With a rough start and a hit to our confidence, we moved on to Dock of the Bay, which we managed to push through. Then came Brood Architect, an absolute healing nightmare—pure brute force healing through a DoT hellstorm, some of the craziest healing I’ve seen in a long time.
But sometimes, it’s not about doing things beautifully or perfectly—it’s about getting it done. And we did. For a long time, we’ve had easy raids, but finally, we got one with some real meat on it.Shadows of Doom has placed serverwide third many times before, and this time was no different. Even on a rough day, we can still place well—because when it matters, we show up.
